! Shipping insurance

Unfortunately packages do get lost & stolen. I like to offer multiple shipping options but I can only advise to take the insurance. Better safe than sorry!

Customers have the option to select shipping insurance at the checkout. If shipping insurance is not selected, Hair by V or the Shipping Company are not liable for lost, stolen or damaged packages.

In most cases, delivery arrives between 1-3 days. Please allow approx. 5 working days for delivery to all destinations. DHL tracking information will be provided after your order has been shipped.

Orders for stock items will be shipped the next business day after receipt of payment. If you have asked for additional cuts or colors to be added to your piece, please note that Hair by V takes about 1-3 weeks to complete the order.

Payment is made electronically and in EURO. You can pay with Bancontact, Maestro, PayPal, Visa, Klarna. The purchase is made when we have received a confirmation of your payment, until that moment the ordered items are the property of Hair by V.

Hair by V is entitled to refuse an order due to a serious shortcoming on the part of the Client with regard to orders in which the Client is involved.

Unless otherwise agreed or expressly stipulated otherwise, the goods will be delivered to the customer's place of residence within 30 days of receipt of the order.

Any visible damage and/or qualitative shortcoming of an article or other shortcoming in the delivery must be reported immediately by the Customer to Hair by V.

The risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer as soon as he (or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier) has taken physical possession of the goods. However, the risk is already transferred to the Client upon delivery to the carrier, if the carrier has been instructed by the Client to transport the goods and this choice was not offered by Hair by V.

 

Shipping with insurance

Customers have the option to select shipping insurance at checkout. If no shipping insurance is selected, Hair by V or the Shipping Company will not be liable for lost, stolen, or damaged packages.

 

Signature required for receipt

When shipping or ordering high-value items, it is best to ask for a signature to release your package. This will prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

 

Wrong address disclaimer

We want to make sure you receive your new hair, so make sure you enter the correct shipping address and contact name of the person who can receive it. This is your responsibility. Please check it. If you make a mistake or things change, please write to us immediately info@hairbyv.shop  and maybe we can adjust your order. We can't promise anything as we process and ship our orders as soon as possible, but we will do our best.

 

Delivered but not received

I try to ensure successful deliveries by providing you with tracking. If your item is marked as delivered to the address but you have not received it, please contact the couriers. You should also check that the address you provided to us was correct.

We cannot be held responsible when packages marked as delivered to a particular address have not been received.

The sale of our products is intended for all buyers residing in countries that fully allow the import of human hair products into their territory.

International shipments may be subject to duties, taxes, and other charges that are not included in the total price. The delivery time depends on the processing time of the relevant customs.

If the customer chooses to pick up the goods, he must arrange for full payment on the spot (cash or online payment).
 

CUSTOM ORDER / PRE-ORDER

Depending on the selection, custom orders can take at least 4-16 weeks or 16-20 weeks . In some cases, depending on availability, an order can be in production for significantly longer.

A custom order is accompanied by a prior consultation with the seller.

Please read the product information carefully. Your choice and confirmation of an order placed means that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Payment to Hair by V must  be made in full before the order is put into production. Once the order has been placed, no changes can be made. You will receive a confirmation of your order from us. The order will only be shipped after full payment has been received.

 

RETURN POLICY

No refunds will be accepted for custom orders.

If you have indicated or requested to cut the lace of a wig, this is also considered a custom order, as well as a custom cut and color.

Returns that are worn, soiled or damaged will not be accepted and may be returned to you.

Sale items cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Your choice and confirmation of an order placed means that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
 

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The provisions of this article only apply to Customers who, in their capacity as consumers, purchase items online from Hair by V.

The customer has a period of 14 days to withdraw from the distance contract without giving reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer, who is not the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods. The customer can only exercise this right insofar as he revokes the entire order.

This means that the buyer must return the product to the post office within those 14 days and come back to us with the tracking information (track and trace).

The shipping costs of the return shipment are the responsibility of the buyer. If the customer has paid an amount, Hair by V will refund this amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal. However, this is subject to the condition that the product has already been received back by Hair by V or conclusive proof of complete return can be submitted.

The products must be returned in the original packaging and in new condition.

All items must be returned in their original condition and must not be altered in any way (meaning no dyeing, silk and lace intact/uncut heat styling, washing, cutting, removing clips or combs etc.)

If the piece has been altered in a way that we cannot refund, the piece will be returned to the buyer at our own expense. All taxes are also the responsibility of the buyer.

If the returned product is depreciated in any way, Hair by V reserves the right to hold the Customer liable and claim compensation for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from the Customer's use of the goods beyond what is necessary to change the nature,  determine the characteristics and functioning of the goods.

All returned items will be carefully examined. The basic principle here is that the consumer may only inspect the item as he would be allowed to do in a shop. Returned items may be tried on, but may not have been used. If an item has been depreciated by the use of the Customer, this will be charged to the Customer.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Code of Economic Law, the customer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable to be returned for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery.

No returns/refunds are possible for:

·         Items on sale.

·         Wigs where the lace/lace is cut in front

·         Personalized/customized/custom orders/cut pieces, custom orders are also non-refundable, as these pieces are specially made to the buyer's liking.

Unlike the pieces that are available in stock, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for custom orders. A custom-made piece will be designed for you. It is more difficult to resell a piece that has been made for you because it has been specially manufactured according to your own criteria and specifications.

Should the package get lost on the way back to us, it is up to the buyer to contact the courier service to arrange compensation. Hair by V is not responsible for packages that are lost during return.

 

Hair by V asks for a 10% restock fee which will be deducted from the buyers' refund to cover the credit card transaction fee (these fees are non-refundable when processing a return to the customer) washing, restyling and relisting the piece for sale on the website.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the Client, Hair by V, Nieuwe Kuilenweg 15/11, 3600 Genk (Belgium), must  inform info@hairbyv.shop  of its decision to withdraw from the contract by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g. in writing by post or e-mail).

The Customer may use the model withdrawal form for this purpose, but is not obliged to do so.

The Client may also complete the model withdrawal form or other clearly worded declaration electronically and send it via the website https://economie.fgov.be/nl/themas/consumentenbescherming/opkomen-voor-uw-rechten/uw-aankopen/een-aankoop-annuleren/wanneer-hebt-u-een-wettelijk/uw-herroepingsrecht-uitoefenen

If the Customer makes use of this option, we will immediately send the Customer an acknowledgement of receipt of his revocation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail).

Any additional costs resulting from the Client's choice of a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by Hair by V will not be refunded.

Hair by V will reimburse the Client using the same means of payment as the Client used to carry out the original transaction, unless the Client has expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, the Client will not be charged any costs for such reimbursement.

The Client may not exercise the right of withdrawal for:

  • the delivery of goods manufactured to the Customer's specifications, or clearly intended for a specific person: custom orders/custom goods

  • the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene and whose seal has been broken after delivery;

  • the delivery of goods which, by their nature, are irrevocably mixed with other products after delivery.
